Hand-knotted rugs are exquisite pieces of artistry, but over time, they may experience wear and tear. We will do our best to use wool yarns that match your rug to the best of our ability. Most repairs are completed in 2-3 weeks, but if we have to custom order yarn or if we are doing a full restoration, the timeline could extend.
Side Cord Repair:
A damaged side cord can lead to unravelling and compromises the structural integrity of your rug. Our meticulous side cord repair ensures that your rug is securely bound, preventing further damage and extending its lifespan.
Fringe Repairs or Fringe Removal:
Fringes often suffer from fraying or damage due to foot traffic, vacuuming or pet activities. We can repair fringes to their original state, or if you prefer a fringe-free look, we can carefully remove them while maintaining the rug’s aesthetics.
Color Correction or Air Brushing:

Tufted Rug Re-Backing:
Tufted rugs often outlive their backing. In some cases, the rug may be professionally washed, backing removed, and a NEW custom backing can be applied. This is an extensive project and all rugs must be inspected in-person prior.
Rug Cut Downs for Custom Sizing Needs:
Should you desire a custom-sized rug, our expert craftsmen can skillfully cut down your rug while maintaining its design and structure.
Rug Technical Services (in our facility OR in-home location services):
We do offer RUG TECHNICAL services that are customized to your rug problems. Common technical services are: removing rug creases and crush marks on NEW rugs to get rugs to lay flat, small repairs, removing candle wax, bleach spots, color repairs, fixing custom cowhide or patchwork rugs, rug inspection only, and rug spot cleaning.
